Position Overview
The Veterinary Nurse plays a vital role in assisting veterinarians, supporting patients, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in the clinic. You’ll be hands-on with patient care, help during procedures, and be a reassuring presence for both pets and their owners.
Key Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians during consultations, surgeries, and treatments
Administer medications, vaccinations, and prescribed treatments
Monitor patients pre- and post-surgery
Perform diagnostic tests such as bloodwork and urine analysis
Educate pet owners on preventive care and post-treatment instructions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic
Ensure accurate and up-to-date medical records
Requirements
Diploma or certification in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
Prior experience in a veterinary clinic is preferred but not essential — fresh graduates welcome
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Compassion, patience, and attention to detail
Willingness to work weekends or evenings on rotation
