Roles & Responsibilities
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates practices of nursing staff, doctors and all healthcare workers
Conducts teaching for nursing, paramedical and medical staffs and students
Conducts and evaluates audits
Reviews and develops policies and procedures in consultation with nurse managers, doctors and Committee
Carries out investigations, conducts follow-ups during outbreaks
Plans, implements and evaluates in service talks and training courses / activities
Ensures patient care delivery
Prepares and update reports and other related statistics required
Participates / leads in quality improvement / research projects
Mentors newly appointed Nurse Clinicians
Updates and implements hospital infection control policy in consultation with Chairman and the Infection Prevention Committee
Conducts orientation programs for nursing staff and students
Other duties assigned
Requirements:
Degree in Nursing from recognized training institution as approved by Singapore Nursing Board
Able to work independently
Good interpersonal and communication skills
