Position: Senior Project Engineer / Assistant Manager

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Project Engineer or Assistant Manager (Electrical) to support project delivery in the retail mall sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in M&E project execution, with experience in healthcare infrastructure considered an added advantage. This role involves coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality, and safety-compliant project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager/ Director in planning, scheduling, and coordinating all phases of project execution.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
Coordinate with internal departments, clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors to review designs and expedite recovery plans where needed.
Support contract administration, including variation orders, claims, disputes, and final accounts.
Provide mentorship and on-the-job training to new project staff; monitor their performance and guide them during project execution.
Prepare regular reports to update management on project progress, timelines, and targets.
Ensure compliance with local workplace safety and health regulations (WSHA) across all project activities.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
3 to 5 years of relevant project experience, particularly in electrical systems, plumbing/sanitary services, and fire protection.
Prior experience in retail mall projects is highly desirable.
Exposure to healthcare facility developments will be a strong plus.
Strong coordination and multi-disciplinary project implementation skills.
Meticulous, responsible, and highly motivated.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
