Job Purpose
This position is responsible for assisting to the VP – Finance & Accounting on the regional consolidation and timely completion of month end closing of overseas subsidiaries. He/ She will support the VP – Finance & Accounting in resolving accounting issues, if any; and ensure the financial results of overseas subsidiaries are properly accounted for in USGAAP and / or IFRS.
Education & Experience:
CPA holder with bachelor’s degree – major in Accounting
10 years’ relevant experience gain within a multinational environment with regional exposure is preferable.
Prior working experience within the energy sector or manufacturing is advantages.
Knowledge & Expertise:
In depth knowledge of USGAAP and IFRS
Strong regional consolidation exposure
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Attention to details, accurate with numbers and independent.
Well organized, self-motivated, and good interpersonal skills.
Able to meet tight deadline and work late.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Proficient in advance Excel applications.
A good team player.

Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the regional consolidation and timely completion of month end closing of overseas subsidiaries.
Prepare the financial and management reports.
Provide leadership and coaching to the sub-ordinates.
Support the VP – Finance and Accounting in resolving accounting issues, if any; and ensure the financial results of overseas subsidiaries are properly accounted for in USGAAP and/ or IFRS.
Participate in ad hoc projects to support the VP – Finance and Accounting in decision-making and take a proactive approach towards identifying continuous improvements on existing reporting systems and procedures.
