Our client is a global logistics operator company
Roles & Responsibilities:
Accounts functions:
– Responsible for AR & AP function and key-in into UBS and NAV software
– Prepare invoices and credit notes, management of cheque or cash transaction.
– Ensure all invoices are accurately inputted to the accounting system with required supporting documents.
– Prepare monthly SOA to clients, monitor and follow-up on overdue account
– Prepare and send weekly accounts receivable (AR) overdue report to management
– Liaise with various departments and suppliers to ensure all suppliers’ invoices are inputted onto system promtly and records are accurate
– Liaise overseas offices to obtain and reconcile related data and information
– Verify office expenses. Staff T/E and payment preparation
– Assist in month-end and year-end book closing and audits
– GST preparation (monthly)
– Responsible for assisting the accounting manager who is doing full-set.
Admin functions:
– Answer phone enquiries
– In charge of stationery, pantry and other office purchase, attend to in-coming vistors
– Perform general clerical duties including open letter box, incoming mail distributing, local/ overseas courier, assist in photocopy, filling and scan supporting documents
– Coordinate office maintainence such as air-con, plant rental, renovations/repairs, building’s fire drill and organize company event etc
– Provide day to day assistance, and administrative and audit related activities
Requirements:
– GCE ‘’O” OR ‘’A’’ level
– Basis knowledge of book-keeping
– Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meeting deadlines at peak periods and take initiatives
– Willing to take up new challenge and hightly attentive to details
– Good knowledge in UBS Accounts and NAV but not a must
