Network Engineer (Japanese Speaking)

Our client is a company specialising in the development of IT solutions within the automobile industry. They are currently looking for a Network Engineer to support project management and IT and network-related activities.
?What you will be working on?
Plan, coordinate and implement strategies to meet key project milestones.
Design, implement, maintain, and support network infrastructure.
Coordinate all aspects of technology operations, including helpdesk, data center operations, network management, etc.
Advise and recommend new technologies, services, and methods for IT Infrastructure to support customer businesses.
Design and/or troubleshoot network problems.
Coordinate and communicate within the project team and to stakeholders.
Ensure timely project delivery and project closure.
Manage multiple projects.
Other duties as assigned.

?What they’re looking for?
Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Ability to keep up with the latest developments in the field and upgrade IT infrastructure.
Hands-on experience in designing, integrating, configuring, implementing, troubleshooting, and resolving network problems including Firewall.
Experience with SD-WAN using Viptela.
Experience in designing and/or troubleshooting network problems.
Familiar with various operating systems (Windows, UNIX, and Linux).
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Able and willing to work flexible hours.
Proficient in Japanese to liaise with Japanese counterparts.
Experience in Cisco Solutions network, followed by SD-WAN (new technology) is advantageous.
Familiar with various operating systems (Windows) is an advantage.
Project Management certification such as PMP and CITPM is advantageous.
Experience in Palo Alto, SRX, and Cisco Solutions is a plus.
Project management and network skills will be an added advantage.
