Job Description:

Responsibilities:
Create Procurement strategy for Ocean Freight to expand Business Development
Rates & Space negotiation with Ocean Carriers
Analyse, review and strategize RFI/RFQs jointly with various internal stakeholders
Drive operational improvement to enable business targets
Provide market intelligence on rate levels and market capacity
Initiate and drive projects in support of improving margin and efficiency of Ocean Freight Department
Achieve operational and financial targets
Development of product including pricing strategy to support new Sales potential
Identify and review process gaps and recommend opportunities for business optimization
Analysis of operational function performance for improvement opportunities
Coordinate and support operational projects as assigned by Superior

Job Requirements:
Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain or equivalent preferred
Minimum 5 years of work-related experience in Ocean Freight Procurement
Strong industry knowledge with in-depth understanding of Ocean Freight carrier management
Good interpersonal skills engaging with internal and external stakeholders
Strong experience in leading negotiations in Ocean Freight Management
